Feeling Fine in 2009

Time to Shine in 2009
If you are anything like me, you are probably a bit shocked to realize that we are already a few weeks into March. Enough time has gone by since New Years’ Resolutions have been made, to realize how serious you were about them. Are any of them sticking? Are you thriving or merely surviving? Or, in light of past New Year Resolution failures, did you “resolve” to not make any this year? If so, the good news is that you haven’t broken any! The bad news is…..you may feel a bit directionless. Resolutions turned into goals and action plans act as a road map for our lives. In these rocky economic times (ok, maybe rocky is a bit optimistic at best!) it is challenging to set a course and stay positive. But it is more important than ever for us as individuals (as well as a nation) to pick a path we believe in and forge ahead! To set goals that not only inspire but challenge us.
Now that SPRING is here, it is a good time to look at what your goals are and ask yourself this...Are they are big enough? Are my goals worthy of me? Having an intention, cause or goals much bigger than your self is often what will call forth inspired action. You might want to ask yourself...What would success look like to me in different areas of life that are important to me? Areas such as: Spirituality, Career, Relationships, Family, Finances, Health and Well Being. What are your personal goals? What are your goals for your family, community, country, planet? If you have been feeling overwhelmed by stress or “underwhelmed” by boredom, think about finding your passion and going for it!
It's time to dream BIG! As the saying goes “shoot for the moon...even if you fall short you'll land on a star!”
If you feel that you could use some help with finding your passion, setting some inspiring goals and staying the course, you might find that hiring a counselor/ coach can make all the difference in the world!
